Mary’s Meals works in 18 countries across Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Caribbean. They are focused on one goal - that every child receives a nutritious daily meal in a place of education. By providing a daily meal in a place of education, chronically poor children are attracted to the classroom where they can gain a basic education that provides an escape route from poverty.
Where Mary’s Meals are provided, there is a rise in rates of enrollment, attendance, and academic performance. Where possible, they serve locally produced food which supports the local community and it’s farmers as well as the wider economy. Mary’s Meals feeds 1,425,013 children every day at school.
We support the leading, national hunger non-profit in the United States that provides meals through food banks and food pantries.
We also support the leading non-profit food bank in Canada through a program that provides meals to children during the summer months, when food is often needed the most.
